Afari Gyan now Ghana's best district fish farmer
Ghana's former electoral commissioner (EC), Afari Gyan, has been declared the best district fish farmer in Ghana at the 32nd National Farmers' Day celebration.

The award follos Afar Gyan's declared love for farming even during his tenure as EC boss. With over 20 years of farming as his hobby, Afari Gyan was able to beat tens of contenders across Ghana.
Meanwhile, the national best farmer was awarded to Robert Crentsil of the Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency of the Central region who has several plantations comprising cocoa (12 acres), rubber (80 acres), plantain (60 acres), cowpea (60 acres), cassava (30 acres), oil palm (7 acres), coconut (6 acres), citrus (15 acres) to his credit.
