Nana Aidoo claimed that Osanju contacted him on TikTok after he saw his videos detailing his battle against cancer, and they formed a strong bond until he died.

He said when they first met, Osanju was suffering from his illness, but never went to the hospital because he claimed he could not afford it. This led him to start sending him money every month.

“When he informed me of his condition, I asked him if he had gone for treatment, and he told me he hasn’t been to the hospital in a while because it was too expensive. So I replied that he should not do that, but that I would pay for him to visit the hospital… I sent him money every month, and I have proof of that. I sent him his last money on the Friday before his death,” he said.

Zionfelix asked Nana Aidoo why Osanju might need help with his treatment when he was a famous TikToker whom people assumed was wealthy.

He replied that there was too much pressure on him as the sole breadwinner of his family, which led him to neglect his treatment at times.

“Remember, he was the sole breadwinner of his family, with his parents and siblings all being his responsibility. So personally, what I was doing was helping him with buying his medicine,” he added.

He added that as a cancer patient himself, he knew Osanju’s pain personally, and he went through a lot.
