The family of veteran Kumawood actor Akrobeto have mourned the demise of the inventor and Kristo Asafo Mission leader Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.

The founder of Kantanka Automobile died on September 14, 2025. His daughter, Sarah Adwoa Safo, announced the news of his demise in an official press statement.
The cause of his demise is still unknown. According to Apostle Kwadwo Safo's family, he was 113 years old when he passed away.
The late religious leader's demise sent the nation into a state of mourning, with many distinguished personalities also sharing condolence messages to his family.
Former President Nana Akufo-Addo, Osebo the Zaraman, Nana Kwame Bediako, Akrobeto, Bola Ray, Diana Asamoah, Juliet Ibrahim and many others subsequently visited Apostle Kwadwo Safo's residence to commiserate with his grieving family and sign the book of condolences.
Akrobeto's son visits Kantanka's residence to mourn
Following the demise of Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, Akrobeto's family visited his residence in Accra to pay their respects and offer their condolences to his relatives.
In a TikTok video shared by Kantanka TV on Thursday, September 25, 2025, the second son of the veteran Kumawood actor and his family were visibly emotional as they observed the solemn gathering at the deceased's house.
Akrobeto's son and his delegation later shook hands and exchanged pleasantries with a representative of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo, who received them.
The heavily built young man sported a Kaftan with brown shoes. The appearance of the actor's son at the residence was a rare public sighting for him.

Meanwhile, Akrobeto consoled Adwoa Safo during a recent visit to the residence of her late father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh, the veteran Kumawood actor was spotted exchanging pleasantries with an individual seated beside Osebo the Zaraman as he arrived at the residence.
Akrobeto shook hands with some relatives of the late Kristo Asafo Mission founder before his subsequent interaction with Sarah Adwoa Safo.
In the video, the Kumawood actor leaned closer to the former Dome-Kwabenya constituency MP and offered words of comfort to her as she grieved the loss of her father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.

Kantanka's granddaughter visits his residence to mourn
