Sarah Adwoa Safo has disclosed a dying prophecy she says her late father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, made to her before his death, disclosing that the turbulent events that followed his passing did not catch her by surprise.

Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka died on September 11, 2025, at the age of 113, leaving behind a wide-reaching legacy as founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission and Kantanka Automobile.

His death has since been followed by an extended, highly public family dispute, including a High Court injunction that sought to restrain his funeral, and a burial that went ahead regardless at Gomoa Mpota on July 30-31, 2026.

Tension has also continued between Adwoa Safo and her brother, Akofena, over how the funeral and its aftermath were handled.

It is against this backdrop that Adwoa Safo has now come forward to say her father had already prepared her for the difficult period that followed his passing.

Adwoa Safo discloses father's dying prophecy

Addressing His Excellency directly, Adwoa Safo said she wanted to put on record that everything that had unfolded since her father's death followed a pattern he had already foretold. She said:

"His excellency, what I want to put on record today is that, whatever happened after my father's demise was a prophecy he had made and it followed a sequence. So I was not surprised at the turn of events."

She went on to explain that her father had warned her of a coming struggle months before he passed, saying:

"A few months before his death, he always said to me there is a big battle before me. Although I was perplexed, he told me I will prevail victorious."

The video triggered a wave of reactions online, with several users questioning different aspects of the family dispute and funeral saga.

Adwoa Safo eyes Dome-Kwabenya comeback in 2028

According to an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, Sarah Adwoa Safo has sparked speculation about a possible return to Parliament ahead of Ghana's 2028 general election, after a campaign-style artwork featuring the message "Sankofa" surfaced online.

The artwork, which also carried the words "Reclaim, Rebrand, Recapture," gained further attention after her brother, Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Jnr, shared it and asked followers to repost it.

However, she has yet to issue a detailed statement confirming her intentions.
