A shop owner and another woman identified as Obaapa addressed the incident during a TikTok live session, explaining how the former beauty pageant contestant was allegedly linked to some missing items.
According to them, the first incident occurred on Thursday, August 20, 2026, before Ohemaa was reportedly apprehended following another alleged theft.

She claimed the missing goods included dresses from the shelves, slippers, three dressing bags and a new travelling bag. A black scarf reportedly belonging to the suspect was allegedly left inside the shop.
Obaapa explained that she saw a woman wearing blue leggings hurriedly leaving the area. However, she did not immediately know that the woman had allegedly taken anything from the shop.
She later saw a picture of Ohemaa wearing what appeared to be the same blue leggings after reports emerged that she had been apprehended in connection with another alleged theft.
How Ohemaa was allegedly identified
According to Obaapa, she sent Ohemaa’s picture to Sister Afia after recognising the clothing.
Her account suggested that the blue leggings played an important role in linking Ohemaa to the earlier incident at the shop.
The allegations surfaced after a video showed Ohemaa surrounded by a crowd in front of another shop. Her wig was removed, and she appeared to be struck on the head before some residents moved her to safety.
The latest TikTok discussion has attracted attention as people seek further details about the accusations.
However, no official police statement confirming the allegations or formal charges against Ohemaa had been made public at the time of publication. Ohemaa has also not publicly responded to the claims made by the shop owner and Obaapa.
