A young Nigerian man has returned to the country after he could not succeed overseas.

The returning youth took to social media platform TikTok to announce his bold decision with a video proof.

In the clip, the young man, @ashuayanick, was pushing his belongings with a luggage cart at an airport.

Wording on his video shed more light on why he decided to return to Nigeria. He wrote:

Man returns empty-handed, speaks good English

Earlier YEN.com.gh reported that an elderly Nigerian man who spent more than a decade abroad returned to the country broke after people drained his savings.

In a TikTok clip, the man, who has lived in places like the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Lebanon and some Asian countries, said he was well paid there.

He said after returning to Nigeria he earns, N50k equivalent to GH¢700 monthly as a security guard.
