In a video that has since become a top trend on social media, a young Ghanaian boy, known as the Human Calculator, shared a mind-boggling feat of identifying the scientific names of different animals.

The young talent, known as Joseph Owura, during a recent interview with a media outlet, correctly identified a long and diverse list of animals by their scientific names off-hand.

When prompted by the interviewer, he rapidly and confidently provided the binomial nomenclature for creatures ranging from big cats like leopards, tigers, and lions to various mammals like elephants, giraffes, and pigs, and even insects like cockroaches.

His vast knowledge and quick recall, for a child his age, are truly remarkable and have impressed many viewers. There was a moment caught by some viewers where he almost slipped in providing the scientific name for a parrot, which he immediately corrected.

Ghanaian boy displays superior mental maths skills

In a similar event of intelligence, the young man, Joseph Owura, left the internet buzzing after he was quizzed with arithmetic questions that someone his age would probably not be able to answer in the same manner.

In the early part of the video, he was quizzed by a Ghanaian interviewer who posed a series of complex multiplication and division problems involving decimals and large numbers.

To the amazement of those present, he answered each question flawlessly and with apparent ease. Each of the questions, no matter the complexity, was answered within seconds, making him the envy of his peers.

Owura was then tested by two foreign men, trying to see if there was a limit to his talent.

Young boy names African capital cities offhand

YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that in a Facebook post, a young boy depicted how formidable his memory is by reciting some capital cities in Africa.

The little boy was asked the questions by his Dad, and he swiftly answered him without struggling.

The Dad, who was excited by his little boy's smartness, couldn't hold back his joy as his voice rattled with happiness and praised the young future leader.
