@Fruity2022 said:

"So, what’s the significance of this? Can’t you do it at home? Why in an open space for everyone to see? If you want to impress, you should’ve gifted the others too to make it feel like you’re on top! You people like show-offs too much! Oh, my goodness!"

@HEISBIGM opined:

"It’s good and nice, though, but I think it shouldn’t have been done within the ward. There will obviously be other women who are in hard times and had their husbands abandon them after conceiving. Doing this in front of them would surely dim some of their joy and might make them sad."

@Longman_Dogo wrote:

"We have succeeded in making everything about money. To show appreciation, money; to say sorry, money. It is all good, but it is not the best way."

@Datchman14490 commented:

"As for this man, he did not do well at all. You're making other ladies or other women over there feel jealous or feel the pain of their husband not appreciating them."

@BarthUkwuoma said:

"This African mentality of spraying money has to stop. Africa is bigger than paper prints. There are other beautiful African resources we can use instead."
