The wife of Ghanaian politician Sammi Awuku stole the night at this year's 40Under40 Awards by winning two categories, including the overall best winner.

The Forty Under 40 Awards aim to identify, honour, and celebrate a cross-section of the nation's most influential and accomplished young business leaders under the age of forty.

This year's award ceremony, held at the Labado Beach Hotel on September 5, brought together high-achieving Ghanains from a wide range of industries.

The politician's beautiful spouse, who is the Managing Director of Brain Hill International School, won the education category and was later adjudged the overall winner of the 40Under40 Awards, crowning a glorious night for the Awukus.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Sammi Awuku, his daughter, and a few others were seen on stage with the glorious winner.

When her name was mentioned, the politician followed his wife and began clapping when her accolades were read.

After the eventful night, Mrs Mary Anane Awuku took to social media to express her gratitude.

"Thank you all so much for your incredible support! I am so grateful and honored to have won the award in education and overall winner for the year. This wouldn't have been possible without your votes ,encouragement and support. Your believe in me means the world. Thank you Team @brainhill_intl_school We did it 👏💐," she said.

Apart from managing the Brain Hill International School, Sammi Awuku's wife wears several hats. She is an author, a serial speaker and an entrepreneur and an industrial and organisational psychologist.
