Controversial US-based NDC activist Kevin Baidoo Ekow Taylor has courted attention after his wife, Marisa Schwartz Taylor, landed a top promotion at her workplace, The New York Times.

On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, the prominent American media giant announced that Kevin Taylor's wife, Marisa Schwartz Taylor, a freelance visual journalist, had been promoted to assistant editor in the photo department.
She has worked in the Washington bureau for eight years and has been considered a significant player in establishing the D.C. report’s visual excellence.
As part of her new role, Kevin Taylor's wife would now oversee the New York Times' photo editing team in Washington, D.C.
Marisa will be responsible for driving the team’s visual coverage at the media giants and continuing to work closely with bureau editors, reporters, and her visual colleagues to elevate and enhance their reports.

Kevin Taylor accuses activist of alleged destruction
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Kevin Taylor accused NPP activist Joseph Osei Oppong of defacing the artwork at the Asokwa Interchange.
