Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah has named Frank Amankwah, Samuel Osei Kuffour, Abedi Pele and himself among others in his all-time best Black Stars XI.

For the goalkeeper, he chose Richard Kingson and placed Frank Amankwah, Patrick Allotey, John Mensah and Samuel Osei Kuffour in defense.

Stephen Appiah who was affectionately called Tornado, placed Michael Essien and himself in the central midfield while putting Laryea Kingston and Sulley Muntari to the right and left wings respectively.

Stephen Appiah chose Abedi Pele as the supporting striker behind, Asamoah Gyan as the arrow-head.

Stephen Appiah's Black Best starting XI comprised: Richard Kingson, Frank Amankwah, Patrick Allotey, John Mensah, Sammy Osei Kuffour, Michael Essien, Laryea Kingston, Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari, Abedi Pele, Asamoah Gyan.

Many of the players in the starting XI were played alongside Appiah during Ghana's first World Cup appearance.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian international, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has donated foodstuff to the Ghanaian community of Udine in Italy to support them as they battle the outbreak of the coronavirus.

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu also extended the donation to some other foreign nationals in Udine as part of his effort to support the less privileged amid the coronavirus.

The donation was done through the Agyemang Badu Foundation with support from the Aseda Foundation.
