The two officials were among mourners who signed the book of condolence at the ceremony held in memory of the late patriarch, father of former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.

Ghana's sports leadership rallies around Gyan family

Both Okraku and Adams took time to inscribe personal messages in the condolence book, joining a wider gathering of family members, friends, football personalities and sympathisers who came to pay their respects and stand with the Gyan family during a difficult period.

Asamoah Gyan, widely regarded as one of Ghana's greatest footballers, has been receiving an outpouring of support since the passing of his father.

His brother and fellow former Black Stars player, Baffour Gyan, was also present as the family carried out traditional mourning rites.

One-Week observation draws football community together

The ceremony has served as a gathering point for Ghana's football fraternity, offering members of the sporting community an opportunity to show solidarity with one of the country's most prominent football families.
