His proven ability to manage top-level talent and implement a clear, effective football philosophy positions him as a strong candidate to guide Ghana through this transitional period.

The GFA’s move to approach Low highlights its ambition to rebuild and reset the Black Stars after a difficult run of results in recent international matches, which has raised concerns about the team’s readiness for upcoming competitions.

Ghana are determined to make a significant impact at the 2026 World Cup, where they have been drawn in a challenging group alongside England national football team, Croatia national football team, and Panama national football team.

Ongoing negotiations are expected to centre around key aspects such as contract terms, the composition of the backroom staff, and immediate performance objectives.
