Löw, who spent 15 years in charge of Germany national football team and guided them to glory at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, brings a wealth of experience at the highest level of international football. His tactical expertise is seen as a potential solution to the instability Ghana has faced since the departure of Otto Addo.

The Black Stars have been without a permanent head coach since Addo was dismissed following a poor run of friendly results. With just over two months until Ghana’s World Cup opener against Panama national football team on June 17 in Toronto, the Ghana Football Association has been under pressure to make a swift appointment.

Löw’s short-term mandate would be straightforward: guide Ghana through a tough Group L, which also features England national football team, Croatia national football team, and Panama.

Official confirmation is expected in the coming days once the final details are completed. If finalised, the appointment would represent a major coup for Ghanaian football, securing one of the most accomplished managers in the modern game.
