Despite the odds, they strive for the ultimate, and dare to surmount all the challenges that come their way.
Such is the story of Benjamin, an 18 year old upcoming artist, who has as part of collection, paintings of the late Ebony, Neymar, a Brazilian footballer and President Akufo-Addo.
Benjamin, who resides at Koforidua, the capital of the Eastern region, has created a professional Facebook page with the name ‘bhen art.’
He began his business after completing Senior High School (SHS) a year ago.
Despite the beautiful artwork he puts up for display, he faces a number of challenges, as he seeks to translate his passion into an income-earning business venture.
These include the purchase of tools and materials needed to work. At the moment, he makes use of one pencil for all of his paintings, though he would have preferred to have at least four of them.
Benjamin derives his inspiration from the works of Theo Pencil. He desires to be a professional artist, whose work would transcend boundaries.
