Owusu Bempah is not my 'spiritual father' - Prophet Nigel
- Prophet Nigel Gaisie has stated that Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah is not his spiritual father
- According to him, he met Owusu Bempah once in his church and he only prayed for him because he dropped an offering
- It was, therefore, falsehood, the suggestion by Rev. Owusu Bempah that he nurtured him
The founder and leader of the True Fire Prophetic Word Ministry (TFPWM), Prophet Nigel Gaisie has emphatically stated that Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah of the Glorious Word Ministry International, is not his 'spiritual father' as the latter had suggested some time ago.
According to Prophet Nigel, he has four spiritual fathers and Rev. Owusu Bempah is not one of them.
“Owusu Bempah is not my Spiritual Father with all due respect. Apostle Emmanuel Afriyie Amoako, Bishop Salifu Amoako, Apostle Okoe Hackman and Bishop Amaniampong are my fathers who pray for me and continue to help me spiritually," YEN.com.gh heard him say in an interview.

Rev. Owusu Bempah is on record to have described Prophet Nigel as a 'small boy' who could not match his stature in the prophetic ministry.
Rev. Owusu Bempah who was responding to a prophecy from Prophet Nigel which goes contrary one already given by him, Rev. Owusu Bempah claimed that as someone he nurtured, Prophet Nigel cannot be better than him at delivering prophecies.
But speaking on Accra-based Okay FM on Friday, Prophet Nigel described Rev Owusu Bempah's claims of nurturing him as falsehood.

“I am not sure Owusu Bempah will recognize me if he sees me. We have nothing in common; he should stop spreading falsehood,” he stated.
Asked if he had encountered Rev. Owusu Bempah before, Prophet Nigel explained that he once went to the church of the former to pray after visiting a TV station near Rev Bempah’s church to submit a CD.
“When I entered the church, I dropped money on the altar. He [Rev Bempah] prayed over the money and anointed every member as it is the case in almost every church. That does not mean he did it specifically for me or makes him my spiritual father. He doesn’t even know who Prophet Nigel is,” he added.

While Rev. Owusu Bempah is a popular prophet in Ghana, Prophet Nigel gained national attention when a video of him 'predicting' the death of Ebony Reigns ahead of her February 8 accident surfaced online.

Following that video, another one of Prophet Nigel predicting a win for former President John Mahama in the 2020 elections popped up leading many to question an earlier prophecy by Rev. Owusu Bempah that Mahama cannot be president again and that President Nana Akufo-Addo will retain power.
Since that time, the two have been in the news for making claims and counterclaims against each other.
