Police hunt for a Gospel musician in connection with a GHc900K robbery and murder case

- The Western regional police are hunting for armed robbers who stole GHc900,000 from an Indian businessman

- A policeman, Lance Corporal Nicholas Duku lost his life during the incident

Police officers in the Western region are currently on the heels of armed robbers who took GHc900,000 from an Indian businessman at Bogoso in the Western region.

According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, a policeman, Lance Corporal Nicholas Duku is reported to have lost his life in the course of the incident.

Among the suspects is a Gospel musician, Kwaku Mintah, who is currently on his heels.

YEN.com.gh understands that Frederick Mensah alias Kobby Nana 1, who is among four persons so far arrested in connection with the incident, confessed to investigators that the musician Kwaku Mintah, David, Mohamed Dauda alias Ahmed, and himself met 5 suspects from Accra at a hotel in Bogoso to plan the robbery.

Two of the suspects used a Toyota Corolla to secure the robbery scene for monitoring. Meanwhile, the police have mounted a search of eight other suspects said to be on the run.
