Shirley Frimpong Manso and husband owe Royal Bank

The Royal Bank published a list of loan defaulters over the week and this list has two very prominent people in the Ghanaian entertainment industry featured in it – Shirley Frimpong Manso and her husband, Ken Attoh.
"This is a notice to the following Directors of Companies who have defaulted in their loan repayment to the Royal Bank Limited. The bank reserves the right to take any appropriate action to recover the debt owed," the statement read.
From the information the bank published in addition to their names, it seems the two secured a loan from the bank and have not been able to repay it within the stipulated time.
Famebugs, a n Instagram page that reported the news first explains that the action of the bank may mean that the defaulters have been personally contacted by the bank and that has also proved futile, so this is the next step which will be followed by the Bank taking them to court.

The court will then decide how the Bank can retrieve its money from the defaulters, either by forfeiting their collateral or any other means both parties will agree on.
Shirley Frimpong Manso and her husband are the brains behind one of the biggest production houses in Ghana and Africa, Sparrow productions. The two have produced great movies and television series such as A sting in a Tale, Potomanto, Adams Apples, Potato Potahto, Shampaign and several others.
Currently, Frimpong Manso is the director of the rebranded TV Africa.
