Presidential staffer Louise Carol Donkor suspended

- A presidential staffer Dr Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor has been suspended fro making unsavoury remarks about some Ghanaians

- The suspension which takes effect from June 13, 2018 will last for 30 days

- Dr Donkor is said to have made the comments against NPP footsoldiers in a social media post

A a policy and communication analyst at the Office of the President, Dr Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor has been suspended from her position, statement from the Jubilee House has stated.

A letter signed by the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, which was sighted by YEN.com.gh, stated that Dr Donkor's suspension which takes effect from June 13, 2018 will last for 30 days.

According to the letter, the policy and communication analyst was being suspended over some unsavoury comments she made about a section of Ghanaians.

Apart from her suspension, "she is required to render, in writing, an unconditional apology and committ to good beahviour," the letter addressed to the President’s Special Advisor on SDGs, Eugene Owusu, Dr Donkor's immediate boss, further be directed

Dr Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor came up in the news last week after she was reported to have denigrated some foot soldiers of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) footsoldiers on social media.

Dr Donkor who is also known to be a leading member of feminist group PepperDem reportedly posted in support of friend who was advocating against dealing with foot soldiers.

Her comments, described by many of the NPP's supporters as very insulting, led to a campaign to get her sacked from her role at the presidency.

It is based on this that the Jubilee House has made the decision to suspend Dr Donkor.
