Sarkodie features President Akufo-Addo in latest track

- Sarkodie has released a new song titled 'Black Excellence'

- The song features the voice of President Akufo-Addo on it

Award-winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie has released a new song which features the voice of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

The new song titled ‘Black Excellence’ (Ebibi Man) is a commentary on African (Ghanaian) mentality, corruption and financial security.

In the song, Sarkodie lashes out at politicians and public office holders who inflate the cost of contracts to their benefit.

He also admonishes the youth on the need for young people to properly invest their money rather than showing off to impress friends and people of the opposite sex.

Sarkodie touches on what is said to be the African mentality which has impeded the growth of the continent.

At the 2:09 minute of the song, the voice of President Akufo-Addo is heard on the song.

It is one of his famous speeches about Ghana and Africa weaning ourselves off aid from the world's superpowers.

Born July 10, 1988, Sarkodie is one of the most influential Ghanaian artistes in recent memory.

He often uses his music to make commentary on important national and social issues.

It looks like he agrees with President Akufo-Addo's resolve to cut our dependence on foreign aid.
