Kumawood actor Lil Win builds school (Photo, Video)

Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as "Lil Win", has established a preparatory school at Offinso Ahenkro in the Ashanti Region.

The school named Great Minds International School is set to be opened on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.

Lil Win who took to social media to make the announcement shared a photo of the freshly built school.

"Today is a Day the Lord Has Made ... Official Opening Ceremony today ... Great Minds International School... Offinso Ahenkro," he captioned the photo.

The comic actor who doubles as a musician also posted a video of the school building.

Earlier, Lil Win had stated that he remains committed to contributing his quota to the educational sector in the country.

In an interview with GNA Entertainment, Lil Win said, "I put up this school to support the less privileged in the society and I want to be remembered for this initiative".

He added that.this initiative was one of the reasons he got enstooled as "Nkosuohene" of Duaponko also in the Ashanti Region.

The Kumawood star revealed that he would embark on a series of donations in the next coming months, as he is seeking to help the less privileged in society and also improve their well-being.

Lil Win thanked all personalities who helped him in all his endeavours.

Known as one of the best comic actors in the country, Lil Win who burst onto the scene about seven years ago, has also had some success as a musician.

He was recently in the news following a prophecy by one self-acclaimed prophet that he would die if he doesn't run to him for a serious deliverance.

Meanwhile, a young midwife has become an internet sensation after she helped a woman in labour deliver her baby safely while on board a commercial bus on Sunday, Septemeber 23.

The midwife, YEN.com.gh gathers, was a passenger on a Bolgatanga bound bus. Midway through their journey, a co-passenger who was pregnant went into labour.

The midwife sprang into action and with the help of two other nurses on board, the baby was safely delivered at about 3:34am after the driver stopped the moving bus somewhere along the Buipe road.
