Latest throwback photo of Bishop Daniel Obinim lands online

YEN.com.gh has sighted a throwback photo of founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim in his early preaching days and has caused a stir on social media.

The popular pastor who was seen preaching in the throwback photo appeared skinny than he actually was now.

What caught the eye of many people however was the 'oversized' long-sleeved shirt he was wearing and how it was drenched in sweat.

The picture of the popular preacher from his early days, was compared to a much recent photo of him looking all 'dapper' in a suit.

Bishop Daniel Obinim, over the years, has claimed to have moved on from one rank to the other in the spiritual realm and now has taken the position of an angel.

He was seen in a quite recent video teaching his congregants a new dance and the video went viral on social media.

"We are going to do a certain dance that everyone must replicate. When I dance, everyone of you must also dance," Obinim told his church members.

He then called one of his pastors who stood facing him and they started demonstrating the dance which saw them hug each other.

Some of his church members who were already dancing tried replicating the dance and soon, the front of the auditorium was filled with people trying to replicate the dance of their leader.

It is common knowledge that the Kumasi-based pastor has claimed to be an angel and has upgraded through the ranks to become an arch-angel.

Bishop Obinim recently put out a list of other pastors he claimed were also angels like himself

Not too long ago, YEN.com.gh reported that the pastor, while speaking on a local TV station, claimed to have been introduced to Adam, Eve, Moses and Abraham.

In the same TV interview, the preacher revealed that he was purchasing a private jet which was to arrive in the country on his request.

YEN.com.gh also reported a on a video in which the pastor was seen in one of his church branches during service reportedly trying to vanish into heaven.

The leader of the church is arguably one of Ghana’s most influential Men of God.

He is also counted among the richest Men of God in the country because he boasts of many houses and expensive cars with the latest addition to his fleet being a $300,000 Rolls Royce.

Aside the fact that many people do not side with some of the antics and controversies,the Man of God has been involved in, he commands a huge church following both in Kumasi and Accra.

The Man of God is married to local gospel sensation, Florence Obinim.
