NDC chairman allegedly caught on tape planning an Arab Spring in Ghana

The national chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, has been allegedly caught on tape holding discussions with a group of people believed to be NDC communicators.

YEN.com.gh understands that the focus of the discussions is the mechanisms to be implemented by the party to cause chaos in Ghana.

Kasapafmonline.com reports that the plans also hinge on strategies to make the country ungovernable by starting what would become known as the ‘Arab Spring’ of Ghana.

Ofosu Ampofo is reported to have added that the party would create heightened tension in the country by deliberately clashing with the police.

Ofosu Ampofo is currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service over his comments captured in an earlier meeting with NDC members.

He has been charged by the CID with conspiracy to cause harm, rioting, and assault of a public officer.
