General Mosquito claims NDC can easily win if an election was held today
The general secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has argued that his party would easily win if elections were held in Ghana today.
In an interaction with Godfred Akoto Boafo on Citi TV‘s current affairs program, Face to Face, Asiedu, also known as General Mosquito, explained that the current political atmosphere in Ghana is calling for a change.
The call for change, he went on, is one that makes the NDC the favourite political party of the majority of Ghanaians.

Speaking in an interview, Mr. Asiedu Nketia was of the view that if elections were held now, the NPP will be out of office.
He went on to say that the results of the 2016 elections will not have any direct effect on the 2020 elections.
Some Ghanaians did not however entirely agree with him on his reasons, and they expressed their opinions on social media.
