77th Golden Globe Awards: Full list of nominees officially announced (video)

The 77th Golden Globes nominees have been announced and the competition is tough!

YEN.com.gh learnt that the worthy nominees were named in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton Hotel just a few hours ago.

People all over the world were able to watch the announcement via a live stream on the Golden Globes Facebook page and website.

Dakota Fanning, Susan Kelechi Watson and Tim Allen presented the nominations while Golden Globe ambassadors Dylan and Paris Brosnan, and Hollywood Foreign Press Association president, Lorenzo Soria came to show their support.

The 2020 Golden Globes will also honour Tom Hanks with the Cecil B. deMille Award, and Ellen DeGeneres with the newly created Carol Burnett Award.

The 77th edition official ceremony is set to take place on Sunday, January 5, 2020, where Ricky Gervais will grace everyone with his presence a host.

In other stories, at a combined event, the CEO of Kantanka Automobile, Kwadwo Safo Jnr, splashed millions of Ghana cedis on the christening of his fifth child, Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Ababio, and a house-warming party.

The joint event came off on Friday, November 6, 2019, at Kwadwo Safo Jnr's new plush mansion, which was unveiled at a combined naming ceremony of his son.

An earlier report by YEN.com.gh disclosed that Sarkodie, Obrafour and Bisa K Dei were among some prominent celebrities who were present to grace Kwadwo Safo Jnr’s combined event.
