Mbappe, who helped France win the 2018 World Cup title in Russia, has earlier admitted that he gives money to charity because he sees the need to help people out of extreme want.

''A lot of people are suffering, a lot of people have diseases. For people like us, giving a helping hand to people is not a big thing,'' the 21-year-old said.

Without any iota of doubt, this is not the first time Mbappe would commit his heavy saving to charity as he donated all his World Cup fees and bonuses worth £400,000 to a children's charity organisation.

The PSG star also followed the path of his mentor Cristiano Ronaldo when he also donated £26,000 to help fund a private search for Emiliano Sala, whose plane perished in a sea.
