Ghanaian hawker & father of 3 cries uncontrollably after being gifted GHC 600

A middle-aged hawker identified as Appiagyei who is a father of three has been captured in an emotional video shedding uncontrollable tears after being gifted GHC 600 by a Crime Check TV representative.

Appiagyei indicates that the full capital with which he runs his business of selling dusters is a total of GHC 120 cedis.

The gentleman further indicates to the interviewer that he usually makes a profit of 20 cedis after selling each consignment of his goods.

Appiagyei says that the meagre profit of GHC 20 is what he uses to take care of his three children as well as the mother of his children.

The poor man who indicates he has sold dusters for 10 good years says that he has been unable to properly marry his woman because of financial difficulties.

According to Appiagyei, he pays GHC 420 every year as house rent and is currently owing his landlord as he has no means of paying at the moment.

A number of Ghanaian hawkers have lately been at the receiving end of pleasant surprises.

Just recently, YEN.com.gh reported that a Ghanaian widow by name Obaa Yaa who was in great difficulty as a coconut hawker after the passing of her husband has had her life turned around with a 2-bedroom house and a fresh business.

Crime Check Foundation reports on their official Facebook handle that their officers came across Obaa Yaa on the streets of Accra with so much sorrow on her face.

It is reported that she was interrogated and it was discovered that she was in great sorrow due to the passing of her husband and the harsh realities it brought to her.
