Killing of Sogakope assemblyman: 3 more suspects apprehended in C/R
- Three persons have been arrested in the Central Region in connection to the killing of the assemblyman for Sogakope South
- Four suspects persons were earlier arrested in for Sogakope South for the same crime

The Central Region Police command has apprehended three persons suspected to be behind the murder of the assemblyman of Sogakope, Marcus Mawutor Adzahli.
The three suspected persons were arrested from their hideout at Obom, a suburb of Kasoa in the Central Region.
According to a report filed by Citi News, the suspects are believed to be Bright Awuya, Franklin Tetteh and Stephen Ansong
The three suspects have since been transferred to the Volta Regional Police Command for further action.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the four suspects were arrested in connection with the killing of Assemblyman for Sogakope South, Marcus Mawutor Adzahli.
The Volta Regional Police Command, in a statement on Sunday, March 8, 2020, said the four persons arrested are assisting police with investigations and would be arraigned before court soon.
The late Assemblyman Adzahli was killed in his home by assailants numbering about eight.
They broke into his house at dawn on Sunday, March 1 wielding guns and cement blocks amidst sporadic shooting.
Marcus eventually lost his life after he sustained gunshot and stab wounds in the attack while his wife was also shot in the attack
