Veteran Gospel musician Yaw Sarpong has mentioned the nickname of his second son.

According to Yaw Sarpong, he nicknamed his second son Shatta Wale because his son is a strong fan of the Dancehall King crooner.

In an interview on YFM, Yaw Sarpong said his son loves Shatta Wale so much that he exhibits some tendencies the dancehall musician.

Perhaps Yaw Sarpong will be giving Ghana another talented Dancehall artiste when his son grows up.

Speaking about his upcoming album, Yaw Sarpong said he will be releasing an album that will feature some secular musicians like Kofi Kinaata, Stonebowy, and Samini.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Yaw Sarpong said the collaboration came about after a radio interview in the US in which Sarkodie said throughout his life, Yaw Sarpong’s songs are what he listens to whenever he is home.

Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong, has narrated how he managed to land a collaboration with rap artiste, Sarkodie.

In an interview on Happy FM and monitored by YEN.com.gh, Yaw Sarpong said a friend of his who lived in the US and had listened to the Sarkodie interview, quickly called him to tell him about it.

He added that when the host asked Sarkodie if there could be a possible collaboration between him and Yaw Sarpong, Sarkodie said if the call comes, he will honour it.
