Popular and affable actress Nana Ama McBrown has revealed that she was once poisoned by a colleague on set.
According to McBrown, after shooting a scene for a movie, she decided to share a meal with the colleague.
However, soon after the colleague finished with the food, the colleague left the scene.
Sooner had the colleague left than McBrown started feeling pains in her stomach.
She disclosed this in an interview on Emelia Brobbey’s Okukuseku Show, as seen in a report by YEN.com.gh on Ghanacelebrities.com.
The actress, however, wants to keep silent on the name of that colleague for now.
McBrown said she was this rushed to the Nkenkensu Hospital which was the closest to where they were.
However, she was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Hospital since there was no doctor on duty at the time she was taken there.
Thus, McBrown believes the movie industry has its own unique challenges and called on all players to be cautious.
She recently sent a warning to her attackers and stressed that God is her shield.
YEN.com.gh also published six convincing reasons that show that McBrown is Ghana's richest and most successful female celebrity.
Her experience may be likened to that of the late actor Bishop Nyarko who died recently.
The actor, before his death, became a pastor and vowed never to return to the movie industry any longer because it is full of evil.
Two prophets have both confirmed that Bishop Nyarko was killed by a colleague in the industry.
One of them told the thorough story of how the killer managed to achieve his or her aim.
