Celebrity fitness coach, Kobby Lionels, dies of COVID-19 days after his wedding

Popular Ghanaian fitness and aerobics coach, Lionel Appiah Budu, popularly known as Kobby Lionels, has reportedly died.

Reports have it that the affable personal trainer died of coronavirus after he got infected. This happened just a few days ago.

According to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on celebritiesbuzz, Kobby Lionels tied the knot with his long time girlfriend over the weekend and died only three days after the ceremony.

He became ill and was taken to the hospital only to be diagnosed with being a carrier of the dreaded COVID-19 virus.

Kobby Lionels, after his short struggle with the virus, gave up the ghost on 7 July, leaving behind his newly-married wife.

Social media is filled with heartfelt messages from friends and loved ones.

Checks on his social media handles prove he was really good at his job, as he was seen engaging in corporate fitness for big brands in the country.

He had also been a personal trainer to many well-to-do Ghanaians and expatriates living in the country.

Moving away from the issue of death and zooming into milestones, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the former artiste manager of Stonebwoy, Blakk Cedi, splashed cash on an expensive gift for celebrity blogger, Zionfelix, whose real name is Felix Nana Yaw Adomako Mensah.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Instagram page of Zionfelix, Blakk Cedi is seen hugging Zionfelix as he hands over his birthday gift to him.

It is reported that Blakk Cedi had left Accra with Kelvynboy to go all the way to Kasoa, where Zionfelix lives, to support him on his birthday and bestow the gift upon the famed blogger.

Blakk Cedi told Zionfelix he had finally brought the pair of sneakers he had promised him and handed a smiling Felix his stylish gift.
