Popular Ghanaian fashion icon and actor, Eliken Kumordzie, has revealed the lessons he learned from getting married and then getting divorced after three years.

According to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on myjoyonline.com, Elikem made the revelations in a live Instagram chat monitored by the media house.

According to Elikem, he has learnt from his love experience to be more patient, listen more and work as much as possible, to make his relationships work.

“It took being out of marriage divorce to realize that. If you stay focused in your business, you milk it. Once you stop fighting for what you want, what you do not want comes in,” he said.

The iconic Ghanaian further mentioned people who are in love relationships are drawn to focus on the negative sides of the love bond rather than the positives, and that breeds many problems.

Elikem, in June 2015, married Pokello Nare from Zimbabwe whom he had met on season eight of the Big brother Africa reality show.

The two lovers had a son but got divorced, to the dismay of many people only three years later.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh also reported that Ghanaian reggae dance artiste, Sedrick Ahiamadia, also known as Flexer-GH, has promised to win Efia Odo from renowned dancehall king, Shatta Wale.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on his official Instagram handle, Flexer Gh indicated that Efia Odo was his future Queen and Shatta Wale must prepare for the heartbreak.
