Joseph Nana Osei Kofi, popularly known as Wayoosi in Kumawood circles, has bounced back to life after he was taken seriously ill of kidney disease four years ago.

According to reports by Ghanacelebrities.com and Adomonline.com, the beloved actor has now fully recovered from the kidney disease that nearly claimed his life.

Recounting how he survived, the actor indicated that one of his miracles was when he woke up from a ‘coma’ in the hospital to see former hiplife artiste now turned pastor, Lord Kenya praying for him

Wayoosi got infected with kidney disease in 2018, following his confessions that he used to drink about eight bottles of liquor per day.

When he was diagnosed with the sickness, the movie star issued a strong warning to the public, stating that the excessive intake of alcoholic beverages, especially ‘apio’ (a locally brewed gin), can have adverse effects on the health of a person.

He also mentioned, at the time, that if children are educated about the dangers of kidney ailment, they would surely adopt proper lifestyles which would prevent them from being afflicted with kidney ailment.

Not long ago, YEN.com.gh reported that Ghanaian Kumawood actress, Suzan Haidamous, warmed many hearts with an amazing gesture to ailing veteran actor, Emmanuel Armah.

The beautiful video was made public by ZionFelix Entertainment News as YEN.com.gh sighted it on the entity's official Facebook handle.

Suzan Haidamous, who lives in Kumasi, drove all the way to personally deliver tons of provisions and an undisclosed sum of money to the actor who is healing from a prolonged sickness.
