Ghanaian actress and rumoured girlfriend of John Mahama, Tracey Boakye, has released her first reaction after the declaration of the 2020 Presidential Elections results.
In the post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Boakye shared a photo with her back to the camera.
That pose is a popular one made by people figuratively to tell others that “whatever you say about me is my back case”, meaning that they would not care about anything at all.
Tracey Boakye’s post has triggered massive reactions from fans with some believed to be NDC supporters attacking her.
Adizatu, for instance, said plainly that Tracey Boakye is the reason Mahama lost the elections:
musah.adizatu: “U a the cause of us luseing the election.”
Noah also accused both Tracey and Mzbel and called them names:
noahkuter: “Tracy u n mzbel are thy cose of jm lose , God will punish u n mzbel thy 2 Ashawoo queens !”
Abena and Salu interpreted Tracey Boakye’s pose:
abenasandrita: “Back case anaaa.”
favoursalu: “Everything they say na your back case laa.”
Seesiwa called Tracey a strong girl:
seesiwa_couture: “U r a strong girl and I love u....”
Empress commented that whether win or lose, she and Tracey will remain NDC:
empress5742: “Still naa NDC 3yw) krom anaa wose den that is y I chosen u as my rollmodel.”
Tracey is known to be a staunch supporter of the NDC. She has also been labeled as a girlfriend of John Mahama.
A leaked phone conversation between her and Mzbel talking about Mahama and what he does for them trended massively prior to the election.
In that call, Tracey accused Mzbel of handling Mahama’s social media accounts and also hosting him in her house.
When the audio leaked, she denied it vehemently saying that it was not her voice in the call.
Mzbel, however, confirmed that it was true and that Tracey had called her to brag that she had access to Mahama more than she Mzbel has.
Meanwhile, Mahama has lost the 2020 Elections to his fiercest political rival, Akufo-Addo of the NPP.
He polled a total of 6,214,889 votes, representing 47.36%, while Akufo-Addo won with 6,730,413 votes, representing 51.59% of total vote cast.
It is clear that this year's election was keenly contested between the two political rivals, as observed by some political analysts.
While he is yet to make an official response to the EC's declaration, the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, has said the NDC will not accept the Election 2020 results.
