As South Africa is still in a fierce battle against crime and culprits handed lengthy sentences, it seems some are still keen on preying on committing criminal activities.
This is at the back of a Mansi woman who recently shared her ordeal on social media, saying that she was robbed and her car hijacked.
But she was shocked to see the criminal taking to social media where he bragged and while driving the stolen vehicle.
According to Jacaranda FM, the woman known as Abongile Majova has shared her bad experience on social media after the alleged hijacker went live on Instagram while driving her car.
It is reported that the woman was hijacked while waiting for a shopping complex gate to open and Majova said she was transporting medication to a friend who doesn't live far from her after she complained about bad flu.
The woman posted further videos showing the alleged hijacker driving in her car while flashing her bank cards. The perpetrator allegedly went live on social media while driving her car and wearing brand new clothes bought with her money.
Meanwhile, Majova has expressed delight in the fact that she was not harmed by the heartless thug despite the event being a traumatic one.
At the same time, YEN.com.gh has gathered that the vehicle has also been successfully recovered.
YEN.com.gh previously reported that an armed robbery was caught on camera and shared via social media.
It was reported that the incident took place in Johannesburg and the footage caused quite a stir amongst social media users.
