8 famous Ghanaian pastors who are exemplary in their deeds

In recent times, people who claim to represent God are seen exhibiting characteristics that appear to stand against the faith they proclaim.

For instance, one Prophetess Dorothea Hagin of the Women at the Cutting Edge Ministries earlier recounted her marital woes that led to the end of her 25-year-old marriage with her husband who was a pastor.

In another report, Barbara Tommey was killed by her husband, Pastor Ofori, the head pastor of Floodgates of Heaven International Ministries.

However, there are some pastors who have shown over time that they are genuine as they live exemplary lives and many well-meaning Christians continue to worship God at their altars.

Below is an admittedly inexhaustive list of some of such pastors:

1. Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare

Bishop Charles Agyinasare founded the Word Miracle Church International, later Perez Chapel International, a Pentecostal-Charismatic ministry in Ghana.

2. Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams

Nicholas Duncan-Williams is a Ghanaian charismatic pioneer, the presiding archbishop and general overseer of the Action Chapel International ministry, headquartered in Accra, Ghana.

He is the founder of the Charismatic Movement which started 20 years ago in Ghana and other parts of West Africa.

3. Apostle Eric Nyamekye

Apostle Eric Nyamekye is a Pentecostal televangelist, an Apostle, and the 6th Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, the largest Pentecostal denomination in Ghana.

He is the second vice president of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council and the Chancellor of the Pentecost University College.

He recently led the church to give an entire ultra-modern prison camp to the government.

4. Pastor Mensah Otabil

Mensa Otabil, is a theologian, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur. He is the founder of the International Central Gospel Church headquartered in Accra, Ghana.

He is also the founder and Chancellor of Central University College, and CEO of Otabil and Associates, an executive and Leadership Growth Consultancy.

5. Reverend Eastwood Anaba

Reverend Eastwood Anaba is the founder, president, and CEO of Eastwood Anaba Ministries (EAM).

Rev Eastwood, as he is commonly known, is a man who has lived his life literally according to Christ’s command of Mark 15:15,

“Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature”.

6. Bishop Dag Heward-Mills

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills is a Healing Evangelist, Pastor, Christian author, and conference speaker based in Accra, Ghana.

He is the founder and presiding Bishop of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group Of Churches (UD-OLGC) formerly known as Lighthouse Chapel International and the United Organization of FirstLove Churches in 190 nations.

7. Prophet Kofi Oduro

Prophet Dr Kofi Oduro is the head Pastor and the founder of Alabaster International Ministries (Alabaster House Chapel).

With a PhD, he is known by many Ghanaians as a dynamic and prolific preacher who teaches the word of God with Power, Clarity, deep insights, and revelations.

8. Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah

Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah is a Ghanaian minister and televangelist who serves as the Apostle General of the Royalhouse Chapel International, a church in Ghana with more than 30,000 members. He is also the first vice president of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council.

Away from that, an elder of the Church of Pentecost by the name Prince Amoah, has built and donated a huge ultra-modern church auditorium to the Christian organization.

In a post made on the official Twitter handle of the church, it is indicated that the huge structure was put up at the Nkwanta Assembly in the Sefwi Bekwai Area of the church.

In addition to the auditorium, elder Prince Amoah also put up a beautiful place of residence for any District Pastor who would be posted to the location.
