Ghanaian socialite, Efia Odo, known on social media as Andrea Owusu has deleted her Twitter account following a Hudson-Odoi tag she felt uncomfortable with.

In the last Twitter post, Efia Odo opined that she was appalled by the way people intended to treat her like "crap”.

Her comments come after some Twitter users suggested that Chelsea star, Callum Hudson-Odoi, was going to get intimate with her.

In what looked like her last Twitter post before deleting her account, Efia Odo said she was hurt that people were tagging her with such a thing.

She said she was trying her best to get the country to work again but her 'enemies' were trying hard to derail her ambitions.

Her post read: “I am strong AF but it’s hurtful when y’all tag me with these names. A footballer is in town and y’all keep saying I’m gonna be the first person he f*cks. I’m here putting my life at risk for a better Ghana and all y’all do is attack me and make me feel like crap! Smh y’all won”

These were her last words after which she reportedly deleted her Twitter account.

Efia Odo was recently in the news over #FixTheCountry trend that was started by young Ghanaians.

She granted a number of interviews to both local and international media houses to speak on the matter.

Efia Odo's unfortunate case has brought back the issue of cyberbullying and the many effects it has on its victims.

In a YEN.com.gh feature, some of the effects of cyberbullying were highlighted and an anti-cyberbullying campaign was launched.

This is due to the fact that the victims of cyberbullying are faced with depression and feelings of being unwanted.
