Road Contractors Receive Death Threats After Demanding For Payment Of GH¢100 Million Debt

Top members of the Progressive Road Contractors Association have revealed they are receiving death threats upon their demands for a GH¢ 100 million debt owed them by government to be paid.

The contractors recently fumed at government as their bankers pursue them for loans they procured to execute their respective jobs. The concerns by the road contractors follows the large stretch of uncompleted roads across several regional capitals in Ghana which has been ultimately blamed on they shirking their contractual duties to government. Meanwhile, government is yet to officially respond to the concerns by the distraught contractors.
