Body of Daasebre arrives in Koforidua (Photos)
The body of the late Daasebre Gyamenah has arrived in his hometown, Koforidua.
The remains which arrived on Friday around 1 p.m and has been deposited at the St. Joseph Hospital Morgue. Family of the musician says he died of a heart-related disease. Scores of wailing people including family members welcomed the body at the St. Joseph Hospital Morgue.

Meanwhile, Daasebre Gyamenah's family maintains they will not accept an Islamic burial for the deceased musician.

Media reports had earlier indicated that Daasebre will be buried today – claims the family has rejected stating they wanted to conduct a Christian burial for Daasebre Gyamenah because he was a royal from the New Juaben Traditional Area.
