Brilliant Ghanaian student dies in his sleep at US

A Ghanaian student undertaking his graduate studies in the United States has mysteriously died.

Reports by Joy FM claims that Amar Amarfio had retired to sleep after having a hearty conversation with his room mates at the Vanderbilt university as a family friend who is resident in the States, Dinah Quist, narrated to Joy FM that the deceased student showed no sign of sickness.
"His mom did not even have the benefit of being informed about her son’s death. She missed a call from a hospital in US and the next thing she saw was the RIP pictures of her son flooded on Facebook and other social media networks. Her son was no more!," Joy FM reported.
The remains of Amar Amanfio is expected to be flown to Ghana for funeral rites as the foreign affairs minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, is yet to comment of the situation.

Thousands of Ghanaians are currently in the United States on an educational tour with most of them documented to have decided to rather stay in the States than return to their hometown.
