Kantanka Dies: Akrobeto Gets Adwoa Safo, Others Laughing as Cheddar Arrives at Kwadwo Safo's Home

Actor and television personality Akwasi Boadi, known professionally as Akrobeto, brought some humour to the household of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo as he consoled the family.

Akrobeto visited the Taifa residence of Apostle Safo to commiserate with the family following his passing. The founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission passed away on September 11, 2025.

A statement signed by his daughter, Sarah Adwoa Safo, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, indicated that the revered man of God and inventor had passed away at his home.

The news has drawn hundreds of mourners, including former President Nana Akufo-Addo, former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and other prominent personalities.

Akrobeto, a mentee of Apostle Safo who came to the limelight through the deceased's Kristo Asafo Concert Party, joined the family and other mourners on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

While at Apostle Safo's residence, the leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, formerly known as Cheddar, arrived to condole with the family.

Akrobeto introduces Cheddar to Apostle Safo's family

Moments after Cheddar's arrival, Akrobeto was spotted interacting with him. He later took the microphone to introduce the politician and announce his mission to the house.

He shared Bediako's mission in Twi amid smiles. However, some of the mourners present asked that he speak in English.

The Real News presenter went into his element, delivering their mission in English. Along the line, he got stuck and had to chip in some Twi, leaving all present, including Adwoa Safo, bursting into laughter.

"Normally, we know what has happened, and everybody knows Cheddar. So we are here to 'yɛɛbɛ ma mo yaakɔ'," Akrobeto said.
