Shatta Wale Gets Huge Reception in Kumasi, Joins Sarkodie on Rapperholic Stage: “Father and Son”

Popular Ghanaian artist Sarkodie held his 2025 Rapperholic concert in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

One of the highlights of the show was when famous dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, joined King Sark on stage to perform for the audience.

In a Facebook video, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale wowed the crowd with their songs and raps.

The two top musicians playfully pushed each other when Shatta joined Sark on stage and then started laughing.

They sang some songs together to show their admiration for each other and brotherliness. At one point, it looked like Shatta Wale had forgotten the lyrics of the song they were singing, but Stonebwoy kept singing to cover up.

Despite the rain that tried to mar the concert, Sarkodie's Rapperholic was well patronised by fans.

Videos showed people standing in the rain and vowing to stay on no matter the weather conditions.

Other artistes who performed at the Rapperholic concert include Kofi Kinaata, Medikal and Obrafour, among others.

The revered musician did that to show his admiration and gratitude to the man he described as his 'Godfather.'
