The musician was spotted at the Kumasi Airport with his crew, preparing to hop on a flight.

Scores of die-hard fans, some in T-shirts promoting Shatta Wale's ride-hailing service Shaxi, were already at the airport waiting to bid the singer farewell.

Shatta Wale took time to engage some of his fans. In a video published by Plus1 TV, a young man was seen engaged in a heartwarming encounter with Shatta Wale.

The young man called Shatta Wale his father as the dancehall musician invited him for a hug.

"This is my father. Whenever I see him, I can't stand. I want to cry," Shatta Wale's fan said.

Their emotional encounter ended with Shatta Wale planting a kiss on his fan's forehead after whispering some words to the young man.

Shatta Wale meets Small Pin

At the airport, Shatta Wale ran into Kumasi-based skitmaker Small Pin.

The diminutive Kumawood star was with a young boy, believed to be his son, when he met Shatta Wale at the airport.

Shatta Wale, on seeing them, gleefully went to shake the actor and his son's hands. As they exchanged pleasantries, Small Pin inquired about the plans for Shaxi in Kumasi.

The On God hitmaker explained that his ride-hailing service would soon be fully operational in Kumasi after registering some strides in Accra.

Kwaku Manu advises Shatta Wale after Rapperholic

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Kwaku Manu had advised Shatta Wale to stage a concert in Kumasi after his mesmerising performance at Sarkodie's Rapperholic concert.

According to Kwaku Manu, the traction Sarkodie has got before, during and after Rapperholic in Kumasi is enough justification that the city is ready for mega shows.

The renowned actor, in a recent video making the rounds online, challenged the narrative that the Ashanti Regional capital was not viable for entertainment activities of that scale as compared to Accra.
