Afua Asantewaa explained that every marriage comes with its own unique personality, expectations and experiences.
Using her own life as an example, she said one partner may not be romantic in the usual way, while another may be more expressive with gestures such as gifts and flowers.
Asantewaa spoke about her past relationship
She said;
"In my previous relationship, he did not take me out and buy me roses, and sometimes I just wanted to smell roses. My current partner does that. Some marriages have those romantic gestures every day, others don’t. But let me be honest, there are marriages where the man does all the romantic things and still cheats, and there are others with no luxury or vacations where the man stays faithful. There are different categories, different personalities, so we can’t compare marriages online because in reality, they are not the same."
However, she pointed out that romantic gestures alone do not define a successful marriage.
According to her, there are marriages where men shower their partners with roses, vacations and luxury, yet still cheat.
On the other hand, there are also marriages where those public displays of affection may be absent, but the man remains committed and faithful.
She said this shows that relationships cannot be judged based on what people see online.

Afua also addressed the constant public scrutiny surrounding her personal life, especially whenever she chooses to share or not share her husband on social media.
She said some people assume there is a problem in her marriage when she posts about her partner, while others still raise questions when she keeps that part of her life private.

She added that people who truly know her and understand where she is coming from would not be quick to believe every rumour they come across.
