US-based Ghanaian media personality, Naana Donkor Arthur, has warned her fellow citizens to beware of fake travel agencies on social media impersonating her.

According to Naana Donkor Arthur, even though she has said it several times that she does not operate a travel agency, people get deceived by these fake accounts on social media.

In a video on Facebook, Naana Donkor Arthur emphasised that she is not in the travel sector and does not know anything about the industry.

She stated categorically that, except for her official pages, any other one with her images is not for her.

"How many times should I tell you all that I can't help anyone travel abroad. If I could facilitate travel abroad, I'd start with my siblings. I have 38 siblings, and they are all in Ghana. When someone creates a fake travel account with my image on social media, don't get deceived and pay money to them."
"When you express an interest in such dubious travel arrangements, and they scam you, do not reach out to me because I have cautioned you all several times. I travelled to the US through the American lottery system. Moreso, I can't write, so how do I chat with you?" she added.
