The APC national secretariat released the timetable as part of preparations for both INEC-restored constituencies and several legislative by-elections lined up for 2026.
INEC's reinstatement of four State House of Assembly constituencies in Delta and Kogi states prompted the APC to direct its state chapters to begin internal electoral preparations.
In Delta State, the constituencies affected are Abraka, Isoko North II, and Ughelli South II. In Kogi State, the seat in question is Yagba West II.
The party confirmed it will hold primary elections in all four restored constituencies ahead of the elections that the INEC ruling now makes possible.
By-elections set for Gombe, Bauchi, Delta, and Kano
Beyond the restored seats, the APC also notified chapters in four additional states of upcoming primary elections tied to legislative by-elections.
The constituencies involved are Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency in Gombe state;
Disina and Sakwa state constituencies in Bauchi state; Udu State Constituency in Delta state; and Dawakin Kudu State Constituency in Kano state.
In total, eight constituencies across five states now fall within the party's coordinated primary exercise window.
The decision to consolidate all affected constituencies under one planning schedule indicates the APC's intent to manage its internal elections in a single, unified process ahead of the 2026 contests.
