Armenia has opened its borders more widely to international travellers, granting visa-free entry to citizens of 111 countries, provided they hold a valid residence permit issued by one of a designated list of nations.
Under the new policy, foreign nationals do not need to obtain an Armenian visa before travelling, as long as they possess a current residence permit from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, or any member state of the European Union, among others on the approved list.

Armenian authorities have made clear that the residence permit must be valid at the time of travel, and expired documents will not be accepted as grounds for visa-free admission.
Armenia's tourism and diplomacy push
The policy reflects Armenia's ongoing efforts to position itself as a more accessible destination for the global diaspora and international professionals.
