The photographer explained that he always brings someone to help him, but during this wedding, they were unavailable, and he hired a woman he found online who seemed to do 'good work'.
"Earlier this summer, I shot a wedding. My typical second shooter couldn't make it, so I found someone else online who I felt did good work. Anyways she and I did the wedding, and everything seemed business as usual. Photos were edited and delivered to the client; all was good.
"Then this morning, I got an email from the bride. She wanted a refund because the lady I had hired as a second shooter for the day ended up sleeping with her husband at some point after the wedding, and she also included photos from his phone to prove it. I haven't responded yet, but what's the best thing to do here? She hired me for a job and the job was completed and the product was delivered. But I also feel like this would be as if I were a professional dog walker who walked a client's dog, and then came back and shot it later," the photographer said.
Many netizens slammed the bride, saying she should deal with her man and not the photography studio.
Bride's KSh 290k price list shocks many
Elsewhere, a photo showing the things needed for traditional marriage, and their prices caused massive reactions on social media.
Many people reacted to the list shared by Yabaleft on Instagram. They said they would rather cancel the whole marriage ceremony than pay such a huge amount.
On the said list totalling over KSh 290,000, KSh 80,000 is the bride price. Meat for both father and mother inlaws cost KSh 5,200.
A tag called "identifying with the father-inlaw" would cost the groom the sum of KSh 5,200. The same amount applies in the section for mother-in-law.
