A security company rewarded one of their staff with a job promotion and salary increase after he became a viral sensation online.

Via TikTok, the young man shared a video in which he wore his work security outfit and revealed that his girlfriend dumped him because he earns N60k (GH₵512) monthly.

The clip made the rounds on social media and caught his company's attention.

The security company reacts

In response, YEN.com.gh cited on Instagram that his company's handle praised him for his diligence at work and stated that he had been contacted regarding a promotion.

They also added that his salary has been tripled.

"He has been a diligent operative so far. We’ve reached him for a promotion already. His salary has been tripled.
"Thanks for sharing," @btmsecurity_ wrote in the comment section of a video of their viral employee.

Security man honoured by his boss

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh previously reported that a boss had honoured his security man for an incident that happened at work.

Many days ago, a viral video showed the moment the security man unintentionally stopped his boss from entering his factory, claiming not to know him.

In a TikTok video, Celebrity Carpenter visited the same factory where the incident transpired to interact with the security man. The employer disclosed that the security man told him he was only doing his job.
