Musician Cee of TV3 "Mentor" fame talks about her absence and family after leaving Ghana

Not too long ago, YEN.com.gh reported that musician Cee who was part of TV3’s popular music show “Mentor” had resurfaced and promised taking the music industry by storm once again.

In a video that was posted on Instagram, the musician revealed that she was no longer going to be known by the name “Cee” and went on to indicate that her new stage name was going to be “Adepa Cee”.

Speaking in an interview on her return on Neat FM, the musician who used to be part of a gospel music trio with The Great Ampong and Isaac also of “Mentor” fame added that she flew out of the country to give birth to her first son in the United States of America, making him a citizen of the country.

Adepa Cee revealed that she left the country after she had produced some 2 albums. She said she went out of the country in 2009, came back in 2010 and eventually went back again in 2013 to give birth to her first child.

She laughed off the show host’s question as to why she did not give birth to her child in Bekwai, a part of the country.

Known in real life as Cynthia Appiah-Kubi, Cee is one of the musicians who took the local music landscape by storm some years back after she l;ft the TV Mentor Competition.

She teamed up with fellow contestant Isaac and experienced musician, Great Ampong and the trio went on to create very popular songs that were played over and over.
